Background

On Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris stands the Élysée Palace – the official residence of the French President and a landmark of national heritage. To contribute to its restoration, southern French coffee producer Malongo created an exclusive Élysée coffee, with proceeds supporting the preservation of this historic site. The limited edition was distributed through the Élysée Shop and selected retailers across France.

Classic Communication was commissioned to introduce this prestigious collaboration to the German market – enhancing brand awareness, reinforcing Malongo’s image as the official coffee of the Élysée Palace, and building the foundation for its market entry in Germany.

Implementation

 

We launched a comprehensive communication campaign across leading lifestyle magazines, daily newspapers, and key trade media in the HoReCa and retail sectors.
In parallel, we developed a targeted sales support strategy, identifying and engaging potential import partners in Germany. By combining strategic media relations with direct business development, we strengthened Malongo’s positioning and created tangible commercial opportunities.

As a result of our integrated PR and sales support approach, Malongo secured a German importer who placed an initial order immediately, marking the brand’s successful entry into the German market.
