Classic Communication: Château Margüi: Campaign - "Where Cinema Meets Provence"

Château Margüi – Official Wine Partner of the Cannes Film Festival 2025

A global stage for a Provençal icon

Challenge / Approach

As the official wine partner of the Cannes Film Festival 2025, Château Margüi had a unique opportunity to elevate its international profile and position the brand as a symbol of contemporary French elegance and lifestyle. The goal was to maximize global visibility and create a strong association between the winery, cinema, and the luxury Riviera experience. Classic Communication developed and executed a comprehensive international PR campaign across eight countries, combining strategic media relations, storytelling, and exclusive brand experiences to firmly establish Château Margüi on the global stage.

Implementation

The campaign focused on targeted media outreach across eight key markets, engaging leading travel, lifestyle, and luxury publications. A highlight of the campaign was an exclusive press event in Cannes, bringing together selected journalists from prestigious international outlets including Tatler, GQ, and Business Traveller. Guests enjoyed an immersive stay at Château Margüi, an elegant dinner at the exclusive beach club Vilebrequin La Plage in Cannes, and attendance at the Cannes Film Festival, including the premiere of Mission: Impossible with Tom Cruise in attendance. To extend the campaign visually and digitally, a photo and video shoot on Château Margüi’s private boat in the Mediterranean was organized, producing premium content for social media and digital storytelling.
